Review: Whenever I see white cheddar, warning alarms go off. I rarely get a good white cheddar cheese flavor. This one wasn’t nasty, it just tasted completely different than any other mac and cheese I’ve ever had before. It was made with whole-wheat pasta so it tasted like I was eating wheat bread. Very different flavor. It was very filling and I could only get through half a bowl. If the cheese was any good I probably could have gotten through more, but the wheat flavor was overpowering, it was too boring and I just quit when it got too filling, instead of goin for the rest.
Aftertaste: It was an ok aftertaste. It did linger around for quite a while, and wasn’t bad. I wish it hadn’t lasted so long. I brushed my teeth about an hour later to get it out.
7 minute test: It didn’t solidify like the Velveeta, but it did get much thicker. Easy to clean. Thank god for non-stick cookware. Thanks mom for the xmas present 3 years ago, still using it. The box also did not have a price on it on the shelf so they just sold it at the Kraft's price.
